The Initial Need

Brie Auto Services, an auto repair shop in Seine-et-Marne (77), had a very slippery tiled floor covering 400 m²: the workshop, lift bays, and reception area. The floor was dangerous for mechanics and customers alike, and ill-suited for vehicle traffic.

The Selected Solution

The tile floor was first sanded to create a rough surface and optimize adhesive bonding. The ULTIMA JOINTS INVISIBLES tiles in dark gray PURE finish were then installed across the entire 400 m². Their virtually invisible grout lines create a seamless, understated floor, from the reception area all the way to the bridges. Two MOSAIK-FLOOR installers completed the preparation and installation in four days in June 2022. Adhesive installation is not an option here: for an auto center where vehicles weigh more than 1.5 metric tons, bonding the ULTIMA JOINTS INVISIBLES tiles is a prerequisite.
