Installing PVC tiles: what to do and with what tools?
Installing PVC tiles is quick and easy, and requires little or no preparation.
These tiles are designed for the following applications:
- Garage, Workshop, Showroom
- Warehouse, Storage area
- Factory and clean room
- Stores
- Sports halls
- Offices
Tools required :
- Rubber mallet
- Cutting equipment: jigsaw or circular saw, cutter
First of all, make sure the floor is smooth and straight. This will optimize the interlocking of the tiles.
It's rare to have to do any patching. The PVC tiles tiles are flexible enough to adapt to many floor irregularities. For a more precise opinion, please contact us and send us photos of the surface.
Clean well.
When the tiles are delivered, they must first be removed from the cartons and left at room temperature for 24 hours. This will allow them to regain their original dimensions, as temperature changes cause expansion and shrinkage.
Once the tiles have been acclimatized, they need to be installed according to our installation instructions.

Cut-outs :
- The tiles are cut using a jigsaw or circular saw. For rounded cuts, a good cutter will do the trick.
- A guillotine is also a very practical tool for large surfaces. Click here
- Leave 5 to 7 mm between tiles and wall
- Allow for an additional surface area of 5% to 10%.
When to glue the tiles?
- If the tiles are exposed to direct sunlight.
- When using a Fenwick with a single small central wheel
